Association Management Companies Are Your Nonprofit's Path To Success
The International Association of Accessibility Professionals has selected SmithBucklin to provide full-service association management, according to a new release today from the company. SmithBucklin’s Christine Murphy Peck will serve as IAAP’s CEO, and its headquarters will be in Washington, D.C.
Launched in 2014, IAAP defines, promotes and improves the accessibility profession globally through networking, education and certification in order to enable the creation of accessible products, content and services, SmithBucklin said. The association defines accessibility as providing access to information for everyone, regardless of age or ability, so that individuals can realize their full potential. More than 1,700 accessibility professionals from 50 countries already have enrolled for membership.
