Association Management Companies Are Your Nonprofit's Path To Success
Dan Ellenberger, an accountant at Executive Director Inc., a Milwaukee, Wis.-based association management company, has achieved the Certified Public Accountant, or CPA, credential.
A symbol of trust and professionalism in the world of business, the credential demonstrates an individual’s comprehensive knowledge of accounting concepts and theory. The certification is earned by a prerequisite level of education and the successful passing of a 4-part, 14 hour examination.
Ellenberger, who joined EDI in August 2009, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
“EDI is extremely proud of Dan’s accomplishment. As an AMC, we recognize the value of continuing education for our staff,” said EDI President Kay Whalen, MBA, CAE. “EDI helps our employees learn and grow by supporting opportunities to keep them educated on the latest trends and engaged professionally.”
Ellenberger is one of four degreed accountants on the EDI client financial services team.
“EDI is committed to providing best in class financial services to each of our clients,” said EDI Vice President of Finance Dan Nemec, MBA, CAE. “Continuing education and professional development enables EDI to deliver on our service promise to the clients we serve.”
