Association Management Companies Are Your Nonprofit's Path To Success
Philadelphia-based Ferley & Fernley made two client announcements.
• The Audio Publishers Association has chosen the firm as its new Association Management Company partner.
Formed in 1987, the Audio Publishers Association is a not-for-profit trade association that advocates the common, collective business interests of audio publishers. The APA consists of audio publishing companies and allied suppliers, distributors, and retailers of spoken word products and allied fields related to the production, distribution and sale of audiobooks.
APA and its members work to bring all audio publishers together to create increased public awareness for
the audiobook industry through joint publicity efforts, national consumer surveys, trade show exhibits, an
association newsletter and the annual conference known as APAC.
• The National Council on Measurement in Education also selected the firm for AMC management.
The National Council on Measurement in Education is a professional organization for individuals involved in assessment, evaluation, testing, and other aspects of educational measurement. Members are involved in the construction and use of standardized tests; new forms of assessment, including performance-based assessment; program design; and program evaluation.
Joseph Casey, CAE will serve as Executive Director. Casey’s experience in association management spans two decades. He has served in leadership positions for a diverse portfolio of clients including trade associations and professional societies. In addition to NCME, Casey serves as Executive Director for the National Association of Equipment Leasing Brokers, a Fernley client since 2014.
