Association Management Companies Are Your Nonprofit's Path To Success
The American College of Cardiology’s Alabama Chapter announced that Christina Smith of Smith Strategies has joined the Chapter as executive director, beginning this month. Smith succeeds current Executive Director Dee Mooty, who is retiring after 25 years of service to the Alabama Chapter.
“Our Chapter, with over 400 members, has thrived under the executive leadership of Dee Mooty for 25 years,” said Chapter President Andy Miller, MD, FACC. “Ms. Smith is well-poised to build on that foundation and help us advocate to improve cardiovascular health and outcomes in Alabama.”
Smith joins the Alabama Chapter with a tenure of more than 10 years of communications, marketing and project management experience. Her most recent position was with Regions Private Wealth Management, where she served as vice president of marketing and communications since 2012.
