Association Management Companies Are Your Nonprofit's Path To Success
The Back Country Horsemen of America has selected Association Resources, based in West Hartford, Connecticut, to provide support for their business operations. AR will handle administrative and membership services, event and financial management, as well as advocacy and communications for BCHA. The arrangement began Feb. 1.
“Association Resources is proud to be working with BCHA to strengthen their operations and programs, and help them further their mission,” said Marty Rotblatt, CAE, President and CEO of Association Resources. “We appreciate the confidence their Board of Directors has in our our management team.”
Founded in 1973, BCHA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit service organization of men and women who perpetuate the common sense use and enjoyment of horses in America’s back country and wilderness, in addition to ensuring that public lands remain open to recreational stock use. BCHA educates the general public and assists the various government and private agencies in their maintenance and management of public land. The organization also fosters the formation of new state Back Country Horsemen’s organizations.
Said BCHA Chairman Donald Saner, “I’m excited that BCHA will be working with Association Resources, helping us take the next step in serving our members and making BCHA a stronger organization.”
