Association Management Companies Are Your Nonprofit's Path To Success
AMC Institute Chair Greg Schultz today highlighted the association’s 2015 successes, which he listed as exceeding budget, financing a university research study, restructuring staff, delivering AMCI-branded education at IBTM World, and holding a highly rated Accredited Executive Leadership Forum in Vancouver.
He also praised AMCI CEO Tina Wehmeir, CAE, CMP, for being named chair of the PCMA Foundation.
Schultz said that in 2016, the institute would continue to build on the AMC Institute marketing program, promote research, increase engagement in social media and undertake “a direct campaign to reach prospective buyers — board members and volunteer leaders — with our message.”
“One thing we’ll ask of you is your content, your thought leadership pieces. There is no other organization that is telling our story. If you generate a blog post, an article, some kind of success, a case study, anything that you’ve done that indicates thought leadership or success, send it to the Institute and we’ll put it out there. I know, it’s hard to do, so do it right when you get that email.”
Schultz added that the institute in 2016 will also offer AMCI-branded education session at IMEX Association Day, new online education, new research projects that “continue to demonstrate our value as an industry as well as demonstrate the value we deliver to clients,” a Canadian chapter an an alliance with audio/video provider PSAV.
