The Association for Healthcare Foodservice Moves to Virginia-Based Association Management Group

Association Management Group announced its selection by the Association for Healthcare Foodservice for full service staffing and management. The association isn’t new to the AMC model.

AHF serves as the crossroads of creativity, innovation, for efficiency for professionals in the self-operated healthcare foodservice industry. AHF members represent the healthcare facilities that, by choosing to keep their foodservice departments in house instead of outsourcing them to third-party contractors, keep food and nutrition at the core of the healthcare and patient experience. The operators and business partner members of AHF work together to create the dialogue that defines optimal healthcare foodservice, while advancing the vision of self-operated healthcare foodservice as industry best practice.

Services have begun with AHF moving its offices from Kentucky to its new headquarters at AMG’s Tysons, Virginia, office. AHF staff includes Executive Director Bruce W. Degn, most recently with the Telecommunications Industry Association, selected through an executive search managed by AMG’s President Bruce Wardle, CAE. Degn oversees the delivery of all services to AHF from AMG. Kent Hamaker, AHF’s Director of Education, Communications and Benchmarking; Mina Choi, Director of Membership and Marketing; Amy Motyka, Lead Meeting Planner and Max Rozyki, Association Administrator.
