Association Management Companies Are Your Nonprofit's Path To Success
Association Management Group of McLean, Virginia, announced its selection by The Dermatology PA Foundation for full service staffing and management. Established in late 2015, DPAF works to assist dermatology physician assistants to expand their leadership and contribution to the field of dermatology. DPAF is established exclusively for charitable and education to engage in research, scholarship, and philanthropy to improve the practice of dermatology patient care by PAs and other medical professionals.
The DPAF is a related Foundation to AMG’s full-service client, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. The SDPA hired AMG as its management company in October 2014 and throughout 2015 SDPA staff worked closely with the SDPA Board of Directors to bring their goal of starting a foundation to life. In July 2015 the Foundation was officially incorporated and in November of 2015 the first Board of Trustee meeting was held at the SDPAs 13th Annual Fall Dermatology Conference in Orlando, Florida. During this meeting AMG was selected to provide full-service staffing and management and services began January 1, 2016. The Foundation is currently in the process of obtaining their 501c3 status. Staff include the DPAF’s Managing Director, Leah Bregman, and Association Administrator, Lindsay Martin.
