Association Management Companies Are Your Nonprofit's Path To Success
Erin Klebaur, director of marketing services at CMA Association Management of Princeton Junction, N.J., has been named one of SNJ Business People’s 40 Under 40.
Klebaur, who has more than 10 years of service at CMA, leads her team of 15 by setting the example that hard work and dreaming big payoff. She began her career as an executive assistant and now leads the marketing department, overseeing the design studio, public relations and social media team, strategy and business development and marketing account executives.
“I’m proud to be recognized for my hard work and excited for this point in my professional journey,” Klebaur said. “This prestigious award is the culmination of teamwork, which is a core value of CMA.”
Klebaur was also recently named one of SNJ Business People’s Top Women in Business.
“I constantly strive to exceed my own expectations, which are often higher than the expectations of others. I love my job and I created my own career path and convinced others why that path would be in the company’s best interest,” she said. “When you’re a leader, others look to you for guidance so I always try to lead by example and practice what I preach. I developed this philosophy through my own mentors and leaders, including my mom, and using their behaviors to create my own leadership style. It’s gratifying to see the results of hard work and dedication.”
Klebaur’s major responsibility areas include: Manage business unit operation and promotional budgets, ensure CMA brand awareness and consistency, provide creative direction/strategies for clients, and ensure growth, stability and bottom-line profit for the marketing services business unit.
“It is with great pride that I have had the pleasure of watching Erin grow and develop into an essential member of the team at CMA,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, CEO and president of CMA. “She started her career as my executive assistant and is now leading the award-winning marketing team. Klebaur is an alumna of Rider University where she graduated with a communications degree, business and professional speech track and marketing/advertising minor.
