Association Management Companies Are Your Nonprofit's Path To Success
In its search for a full-service association management company, the Association for Rural and Small Libraries received eight applications, short-listed four companies and interviewed two before selecting Treeline Associates, an AMC Institute member based in Whitehall, Michigan, northwest of Grand Rapids.
Judy Calhoun, the association’s president and also the past president of the Arkansas Library Association, said Treeline “had the services and staff size we preferred.” Treeline lists nine staff on its website.
She added that the association published the RFP on the RFP service operated by AMC Institute, and that volunteer leaders like this method.
ARSL is a network of persons throughout the country dedicated to the positive growth and development of libraries. As of November, the association’s then-current budget for management services was $13,812.
