Association Management Companies Are Your Nonprofit's Path To Success
The American Horticulture Therapy Association has retained Seattle’s SBI Association Management for association management, according to SBI’s Facebook page and a news release on the association’s website.
The American Horticultural Therapy Association is the only U.S. organization committed to promoting and developing the practice of horticultural therapy as a unique and dynamic human service modality. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, AHTA advocates on behalf of the professional interests of horticultural therapy practitioners and strives to increase beneficial outcomes for participants, host facilities, researchers, and educators.
Originally formed in 1973 as the National Council for Therapy and Rehabilitation through Horticulture, the organization adopted its current name in 1987.
Michele Reeder has been named as AHTA’s Association Executive and brings more than 15 years of experience as a CEO and business mentor.
The association’s request for proposals was not distributed on AMC Institute’s Online RFP System.
