Different offices of Transact Capital Partners served as financial advisers to Management Solutions Plus and McLaughlin: Fred Doster advised MSP, and George Sydnor advised McLaughlin.
Management Solutions Plus was founded in 1993 by Beth Palys to provide professional management services to membership associations and non-profit organizations. MSP is one of 82 firms accredited under the ANSI/AMC Institute’s Standard of Good Practices for the Association Management Company industry.
According to Beth Palys: “My goal was to identify someone who shared my deep commitment to quality service and relationships with our clients as well as a commitment to our staff. Shawn completely satisfies that goal.”
McLaughlin will operate MSP under McLaughlin MSP, Inc. Sydnor has been an advisor to Mr. McLaughlin for several years and brought this investment opportunity to him.
