Association Management Companies Are Your Nonprofit's Path To Success
The Association of Women Surgeons and AWS Foundation have selected Sentergroup, Inc. of Chicago for full-service association management.
Founded in 1981, AWS is a not-for-profit educational and professional organization with a mission to inspire, encourage, and enable women surgeons to realize their professional and personal goals, from medical school through retirement. With more than 2,000 members, AWS is one of the largest organizations dedicated to women surgeons.
AWS has members in 21 countries, including Australia, Canada, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Japan, South Africa, Switzerland, and the U.S, among others.
The AWS Foundation, founded by AWS leaders in 1994, funds fellowships, research awards, and scholarships that advance the careers of women surgeons and recognizes those individuals who are supportive of the AWS mission.
Michelle Goldberg will serve as the executive director for both entities. Sentergroup assumed management responsibilities for AWS and AWS Foundation on Nov. 1, 2017.
The association’s request for proposals was not distributed on AMC Institute’s Online RFP System.
