The Association of Destination Management Executives International has selected a provisional member of the AMC Institute, The Valisade Group of Bastrop, Texas, near Austin, for full-service management.
Provisional members are AMCs that only have one client. This status is granted for a 12 month period from the date of acceptance. After the 12 month period is up, Provisional Members can either join as an Active Member (if they have obtained a second client) or they must submit a written summary to firstname.lastname@example.org, explaining their company’s growth plan.
ADMEI said it sought management proposals on the AMC Institute’s Online RFP System because “The board of directors hasn’t approved an updated contract in over 15 years and felt necessary to solicit bids and review services.”
The association describes itself as the global voice of the destination management industry. Among other things, ADMEI certifies destination management professionals and accredits destination management companies.
AMC Advantage code-named this opportunity “Innocent Acrobat.”
